Hi, I’m Kristinka, an internationally acclaimed portrait artist & founder of The Gift of Being Seen© project.
With 17 years of experience in creating art, I paint elegant portraits for people around the world, focusing on capturing emotion and personality in their most genuine moments.
Beyond that, my greatest passions are dance and travel. I love how they inspire the way I connect with people and the work I create.

My journey
My artistic journey began in childhood at the School of Animated Film, where I spent eight years creating animations. Formally educated in fine arts, I continued developing my skills through years of painting and a daily portrait practice, focused on expressing emotion and fostering connection.
Since 2021, creating live portraits has become my full passion, bringing meaningful experiences to various events.
I’ve exhibited in Croatia and internationally, participated in art residencies and projects in Spain, received an international art award and work on events with esteemed professionals and institutions such as Women in Wine and Zagreb Airport. My work has also been recognized and featured across various Croatian and international media.
Inspired by exploring my own dreams, in 2020 I created Croatia’s first Dream Journal. In 2023, the project was selected for The BREAK program in Spain.
